Understanding the values
-
Total Decks & Cards per Deck:
Both of these figures are calculated based on data from the past two years.
-
Popularity
For each card, we take the number of decks that have included it in the past two years (total decks). We then divide this number by 730 (365 days times 2 years) to determine how many copies of that card are played per day over a two-year period. We use the most popular card as a 100% popularity benchmark, and all other cards are adjusted in percentage based on this reference.
-
Trend
To determine the trend, we compare the popularity value of the last 30 days (total decks playing the card in the last 30 days divided by 30) with that of the last 7 days (total decks playing the card in the last 7 days divided by 7). The difference between these two values is the trend.
-
Copies/deck
The average number of copies played per deck for a given card.
-
Decks
Total number of decks playing the card.
Note: If a card is new, the release date is always used as the starting point for the calculation period.
